ABOUT ME (Jorge Fusaro, MA, CPC)
Cultural observer, seminary graduate, marketing executive, creative-ninja, God-centered, philosophically-inclined, futuristically-wired, tech-junkie, people-connector, lover of life, idea generator, strategic planner, visually-driven, Jesus-disciple.
Short Version: A creative and compelling thinker- ideas keep me up and keep me going. I like to dance between tradition and the future; the modern and the postmodern; reality and fiction; stillness and motion; silence and noise. I am opinionated yet reserved; intellectual yet ignorant; extroverted yet introverted; and independent yet inter-dependent.
I think and write. Coach and consult. Dream and speak. Learn and share. Promote hope and action. I find overwhelming joy in creating new things and living outside the box. I love helping people: live better lives, ask the right questions, identify what matters most, think and communicate clearly, and make wise decisions. I enjoy supporting creators, dreamers, misfits, innovators, linchpins, leaders, activators, and mobilizers hungry to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. At the core, my faith drives and infuses all of my life, work, play, and leadership.
I still have not fulfilled my childhood dream to become a ninja! Life does take us into unexpected paths.

Long Version: From an early age, I have been attracted to ideas, creativity, leading, and entrepreneurship. Do you remember the kid with the lemonade stand, the newspaper boy, and the neighborhood shoe polisher? Well, that was me. At 13, I started my mobile-DJ business, which lasted for 9 years and opened the doors to DJ in multiple venues/countries. It also gave birth to Kilombo Productions in 1995, a promotions and event producing company active under my lead until 2000. Later that year, I co-founded Futuroe, a leading digital media agency specializing in web design/development, online marketing, and technology consulting. In 2006, I established Leadership Fuel, a firm committed to empowering leaders to significant and sustainable success in life and in business. For the past ten years, my love for media, technology and digital culture, continues to be a big part of my professional life. I regularly advise businesses and brands on social networking and new media marketing communications.
Education and past experiences have played a key role in my career, as well as in my personal and intellectual development. As far as I recall, I have always been a student of people, culture, leadership, religion, and innovation. This led me to obtain a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing Management from Louisiana State University followed by an M.A. in Theology and Culture from Fuller Theological Seminary, which allowed me to continue. Immersed in this diverse community of theological reflection, I devoted most of my time to the integration of spirituality to everyday life. My passion for leadership and empowering people, led me to obtain my professional coaching certification at the International Coach Academy, a comprehensive program in professional coaching, fully-credentialed by the International Coaching Federation.
I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico by Cuban-Argentine parents and have lived in Louisiana, California, Italy and New York. I currently live in Puerto Rico and travel as much as possible. My hobbies include photography, digesting art and culture, cooking, playing music, international soccer, tennis, golf, salsa, reading, storytelling, savoring good beverages, and finding good deals.
All in all, I love to live and live to love.

It is one of the most interesting websites I have seen, mainly because of the substance. There is so much online frivolity, that when you see something like this, it stops you on your tracks to really reflect on what you just read. I am proud of you. Congratulations. You are a great human being.
Tu tia.
Jorge,
I’ve been following your work in Haiti. I love what you’ve written (the pictures are gorgeous) and how you’ve written on this website. Your words make me believe. I want to reiterate what the person above has deduced: You are an incredible human. I’m grateful to know you.
